Well, we have arrived, and are just decompressing in the hotel albeit at 5 am Indian time. The flights were great and on time, but as it’s always inevitable in India, something goes wrong and a suitcase didn’t arrive. I had completely forgotten the sheer number of cases that the Indian families travel with (it appears on average to be 12), with some stupendous overweight baggage charges with over 20 cases. This makes for a very long delivery time at the baggage carousel hence two hours before we realised the bag was missing. As it’s very dark and very smoggy here I can’t post a picture of our surroundings so these are the little model houses that KLM gave to us. I rather like them.
