Sue here.  So glad to be here, and welcoming the opportunity to experience a different culture and spend time with my amazing husband :).  Have just had one of the best meals of my life.  Very simple meal of chicken kebabs and dahl, and trying to work out how they created such exquisite flavours with such simple ingredients.  We haven’t really ventured outside the hotel today, but tomorrow sees our first tour of Delhi, first the new, then the old city on Sunday.  Already, I am sensing the slower pace, and the opportunity to wind down, stop sweating the small stuff (like a lost suitcase!) and take time to look and listen to the world around me.  Norm and I are viewing this trip as an opportunity to reconnect and think about the future.  I am excited!

Some artwork from the hotel lobby.  Lots of pictures of foreign presidents who have stayed here around the wall also.
